  3. PRODUCT:  FCB.EXE v1.00
  4. DATE:     26 Nov 1991
  5. PURPOSE:  To allow applications running over DOS 4.00 or higher to use FCBs
  6.       to open files on redirected drives with LANtastic.  Applications
  7.           include Autocad 10 C2, WordPerfect Library, Financial Reporting and
  8.       Dataflex/Expandable.

  14. Installation instructions:
  15.  
  16. 1)  On the stations AND servers running DOS 4.01 or higher, copy FCB.EXE to 
  17.     your LANtastic directory (usually C:\LANTASTI).
  18.  
  19. 2)  Edit the batch file that loads the network (usually STARTNET.BAT) 
  20.     to include the line
  21.  
  22.          FCB
  23.  
  24.     after REDIR.EXE and before any CD-ROM driver extensions.  If you are not
  25.     loading any CD-ROM extension software, FCB can be loaded at any point 
  26.     after REDIR, even after LANCache and SERVER.

  28. 2)  Reboot your computer.
  29.  
  30. 3)  Load the network as usual.
  31.
